Legends is a community based program and non-profit. We are not part of a national Lacrosse Club organization that places requirements or restrictions on local teams or seeks to generate profits for corporate purposes.

Legends is led by the Club Director. This NON-PAID position leverages the resources of the larger Lutherville  Lacrosse program. This curriculum approach helps graduate players each year by focusing on age-appropriate skill and athletic development.

Coaches

• • •  Head Coaches will be USA Lacrosse trained.

• • •  All coaches will be trained with the principles provided by the Positive Coaching Alliance

• • •  All coaches are USA Lacrosse members.

• • •  All coaches receive additional in-house training to ensure age-appropriate instruction and player development.

• • •  Coaches will be committed to their team, not coaching several other teams.

• • •  Coaches are selected based on their lacrosse experience AND their ability and experience developing
    youth lacrosse players.

• • •  All coaches are background checked.

• • •  Specialty coaches will be utilized for defense, face-offs, and goalies- fall/winter program.

• • •  Each team will have a designated Team Manager to facilitate all logistics.
